Thanks for this. But the USAF has been talking about lasers for over 30 years. And they still have not fielded ANYTHING that worked well enough to go into production to shoot down anything of substance. Maybe one day...but I doubt anytime soon.

@SoloRenegade Okay. But 1) I said the USAF. And 2) I said 'fielded' and went into production. They have been testing lasers for decades. And lasers aboard ships? What lasers and what ships? If you mean the AN/SEQ-3 on the Ponce? That is just an anti-drone laser. Big deal. Drones are incredibly fragile. I mean weapons IN SERVICE that take out major, combat weapons and systems like incoming missiles and/or aircraft.

@SoloRenegade I have said before - and I will say again. The USAF has been talking about deploying lasers for DECADES...literally. And they have NEVER YET done it...not even close. And I am not believing they will do so until they have it tested, put into full scale production and have deployed it...not before. You want to believe them sooner - go ahead. And the subject of this video is neither the Navy nor the Army...it's the Air Force. Good day.
