  1. Let's keep this health care debate in perspective. I'm a liberal, but that doesn't mean I'm a raging socialist who automatically trusts the government to handle things. I just want bang for my tax buck. Yes, I think Medicare for all is a good idea in principle, but would the government fuck it up? To SOME DEGREE, they absolutely will. But why are we here trying to come up with solutions now? Because the private health care system is not working. We should definitely criticize liberal candidates' health care plans and worry about those candidates' electability against Trump, but remember - Trump didn't worry about it. He simply gave us the bullshit promise that, "It'll be something wonderful. Everyone will be covered, and for less". He flat-out LIED and said he would protect pre-existing condition protections while proceeding to gut them. I don't necessarily vote for presidents based on their proposed plans. Life happens while you're making plans. I vote based on their ABILITIES. I just want them to be there when shit happens, and shit WILL happen. Yes, they should make plans and have visions, but know that things will change and complications will arise.
