"If you don't watch the news, you're uninformed. If you do, you're misinformed". That's not true. If you watch, you are under-informed. If you confuse the NARRATIVE and EDITORIAL with the FACTS, you are misinformed. Sure, the media make mistakes, but mistakes aren't lies. I'd rather know half a story that's spun the wrong way than to know nothing. Yes, MSM is sensationalized. Yes, they use narratives to sell the story. They have to. I cringe whenever I hear "BREAKING NEWS!" about every little thing. Take it with a grain of salt. Extract the facts. Wikileaks is not news. Youtube hack videos are not news. They just talk about what MSM reports. Trump's Tweets are not news. Saying it gets him around the "fake" media is absurd. It gets him around due scrutiny. (with grammar errors no Yale man should ever make - "their" is not "they are". "Open Borders" doesn't get capitalized, and it's a lie to say Dems want open borders anyway). FOX News isn't even news. Sean Hannity coordinates stories with Trump! And his followers say the "liberal" media is biased?! FOX has no competition on TV. Competition is what keeps them honest. If CNN gets it wrong, ABC, NBC and PBS will get it right and get higher ratings. Free market Capitalists should know that. You MSM bashers are so much more biased than they are, and it's obvious.

MSM bashers - When the media says, "Michael Cohen is fiercely loyal to Trump", it is based on one statement - "I would take a bullet for him". That's a narrative. (They have to have a narrative. It's how you report a story). You can take or leave the narrative. However, it is a FACT that Cohen did say it. You can't just take or leave that. Get it? Don't accept Trump's new definition of "fake" as meaning false. It's how the line gets blurred. Fake means false. "Fake news" means it's an imposter outlet and/or a lie. BIASED means biased. If you don't like the narrative, ignore it. If you don't like the facts, deal with it. Editorial is not fact. What a guest says ON CNN is not a statement BY CNN. You want discussion panels to represent differing opinions, right? Well, then someone on the panel is going to say something you don't agree with. Learn something about what you're bashing. YOU are the brainwashed. YOU are "drinking the Kool-aid". Stop thinking you have healthy skepticism and a sense for who is bullshitting you. If you trust Trump, you are not a good judge of character. If "fake news", is your mantra, YOU are so much more biased than the news media ever could be.
