  2. When Lee first complained about the briefing, he mentioned he wanted to talk to the president. I want to believe that he criticized Trump for the right reasons, but a cynical part of me wonders if he just did that to get a meeting with Trump to ask for something, election help maybe. It's just so rare that any of these Republicans have a spine and put country over party anymore. Anyone who accuses me of having an automatic liberal bias or a hatred for Trump might be right to some degree. But it is for good reasons. Trump and the Republicans have proven to be spineless and untrustworthy.
