  1. Yes its good to clarify this....it reminds me of 'Watergate' adding the term 'gate' to every political scandal that has happened since nixon's demise. Terms lime the Russian idea of Deep Battle better describe the concept, if not quite as catchy.....manouvre warfare, more professional more accurate and reflecting better the authors of the idea such as liddel hart and even Wavell in a practical sense, later expounded further by Guderian in his work 'Achtung Panzer'.....(.Assault rifle is another comparison as to how words and terminology have been overtaken by myth).
