@roguenerdd money comes before people in the national, act and NZ first world. When is everyone going to wake up to this fact. "Let's get the economy going again" meanwhile the population suffers

Really what is the bigger problem "people getting the sniffles" or increased rate of meth production and therefore use in society. This new government was worried about cigarette retailers getting targeted with the increase in tobacco tax and limited purchasing locations. Is this not exactly the same. Giving a new target. They simply don't follow their own rules and logic

Do you have some statics or proof of that or is that just a wild guess from your lounge room. Unless your heavily involved in the importation or production of meth I have no idea how you would know such things. Either way I'm pretty sure it's safer that meth is cooked overseas and imported than made here in NZ in your next door neighbours rented house and then 6 months later is a child's bedroom.. Which would you prefer??

Giving a new target for criminals.. That's what they claimed they were so worried about with cigarettes but yet here they are going ahead and doing it anyway

@andosoup98 already do live abroad mate haha thankfully with National, Act and NZ first which are about to ruin New Zealand.. You can deny it but just wait a year or two and you will be looking really stupid

@andosoup98 there is plenty of other opportunities to get good medication which does not contain pseudoephedrine and therefore doesn't not have the chance that gangs and drug cooks use it to make their product. Or do you have the sniffles so bad that you need this specific drug ? Haha

@andosoup98 could ban cars all together, it would save lives. Could ban all firearms, would save lives. Could stop people like you leaving the house every day, would save lives. I don't get your point about banning cars driving over 100. Makes no sense....? But I'm not surprised you don't make a lot of sense tbh

@gazdubai seems like the sniffles are a bigger problem to this government than gangs making and selling their own homegrown meth. And our prisons unfortunately are already pretty full and paid for by the tax payer so i dont thibk its a good idea to promote to people there is space in jail to find out.

@andosoup98 if their health conditions are "the sniffles" which is exactly what Seymour said this medicine helps then yes! I am most definitely mocking people with a serious case of the sniffles!! Cancel me! Come on haha

@andosoup98 yes but only by prescription and not open to the general public to purchase as much as they want to make meth..... Or treat a very very bad case of the sniffles Where do you get your news from buddy? Right wing TV?

@andosoup98 I don't see them making meth from codeine these days do you?? Meth and P is the problematic drug in NZ right now and for the last 10 years. So yes we should stop selling pseudoephedrine over the counter which is needed to tackle the drug problem is NZ to reduce the amount of meth produced in NZ. Remember it's not just dangerous for the user, it's dangerous for anyone who has been in the structure or building it was produced in. Either way if meth consumption rates don't decrease it's still better that it's produced offshore and imported into NZ than produced here in NZ, is it not?
