Interesting country, middle east is not really my cup of tea apart from Turkey but to each is their own. For someone seeking a location for investment sake this type of country could absolutely work especially someone from another middle eastern country. One interesting thing I know about Bahrain is that they will actually essentially buy off distance runners from north Africa and essentially give them passports and huge bonuses if they are willing to compete for the nation in international competitions. For this reason recently many runners competing from Bahrain have been winning medals at international events, because Bahrain has acquired some of the best distance runners in the world. Your topic made me think of this story and is certainly an interesting one.
