@johnheers6220 the “nonspecific” hope is the mystical Christ who, in me/us, is becoming into the fullness of the Bride of Christ. And then, imo, that will fractals radiate out to the entirety of the Cosmos.
It’s not some nebulous, kumbaya, “whatever you want, man” thing. It’s a radically personalist ontology and respect of true belief/faith which is necessarily personal.
This isn’t anti-incarnational. It just doesn’t presuppose specific framings (intellect, maps, potential idols of the mind), specifically the linear progression of time & choice and how salvation/belief/atonement work.
My friends and I tried to talk about this recently (we always are, more or less, or something related). Think the Butterfly effect and quantum indeterminacy.
