  1. I'm in Colombia now and have flights to Ecuador in May. Since they've closed their borders, I'm not going to panic, but wait a few months to see if they open up again. If they don't, then I'll use the opportunity to change my flights to somewhere that is open. If the whole world is closed down, I'll apply for residency within Colombia to wait things out. Going back to the USA would be a bad idea, getting quarantined at the border would cost thousands and thousands of dollars.
