  1. I could apply to this my own life by first finding a small place in Michigan near my family for my the summers, then perhaps a base in Medellín and Barcelona. I still have a lot of places I want to see though, especially in Asia and Eastern Europe. How long did you travel for before you choose a place as a base?

  2.  @dlukton  it's a good thought for the future. I just don't know where I would want to change my status to yet.
