It's just handing the people with private jets and beachfront mansions, all the money and power in the world, to fix the bad weather is somewhat fishy...

I'm still waiting for a single climate prediction to come true. It's been 100 years of false predictions at this point. The people with private jets, beachfront mansions and vast car collections, who have been proven wrong at every turn, tell us we need to give them all the power and money in the world to save us from bad weather. Yeah...ok...

@ShadowPhoenixMaximus No but I've seen a ton of hysteria over it. Global deaths due to weather events has gone hugely down and is at it's lowest level ever. The weather has never been less dangerous to humans.

Sorry BBC but we need to talk about your problem. Given the size, you are worse than the Catholic church by far. What is going on there? Another one already?! It's been like one a month since Sir Jim. The place really needs to be disbanded and sold off. It's existence in it's current form is a threat to public safety. With regards to this story above, there is a huge amount that needs thorough investigation and examination. We've all seen the damage vested interest's "settled science" can do. There is no truth which cannot be scrutinised, only falsehoods need censorship.

@darraghwalsh8534 Yes, converting the entire planet to renewables will be totally free and no one will benefit financially at all! The only way to fix possible bad weather in 100 years is to give a handful of people all the wealth and power in the world. Sure....
