  1. The Gurkhas arrived too late to be involved in any battles... However the fact that they had been despatched to the Falklands was publicised by a Spanish language British radio station aimed at the Argentinian army that mixed entertainment with light propaganda. They spread all sorts of outlandish stories about the savagery of the Gurkhas and the Argentines appear to have believed everything they heard, which damaged their morale.
