I did see a comment from Burnham, a not unintelligent man, coming out with the usual nationalisation nonsense. If Starmer had sense, which I doubt, he should come clean and bury the myth about public ownership. Having said that of course, indirectly, the public are funding and investing in the energy and water companies through huge pension funds.
