  2.  @a4paper754  Absolute rubbish, back this up with facts. Germany was stopped by the umions in closing down coal production. This left them vulnerable to importing gas. That worked then. But again show me the case where it works here. Facts Figures? Unions would use nationalised industries as political muscle. Like they did last time. The cost to the tax payer would be what? Nothing? How mant pensions would be reduced?
