  1. The Patriot can't be compared to the Iron dome. Apples to oranges. The Patriot is a ballistic missile interceptor along with anti-aircraft capabilities. The Iron dome could only dream of that. This is why the Iron dome is so much cheaper.

  2.  @noop9k  No they are too small. This is how the drones got passed it in Saudi Arabia, same with the Russians at their base in I believe Syria. Each interceptor has it's own niche, and is why every nation uses layered defense. No 1 system can do it all. The Iron dome is better for them both in cost and for whats going on as Hamas doesn't have ballistic missiles there, to which if they did Israel has the Patriot, Arrow, Davids Sling, etc.
