He said Russia doesn't target civilians, Kremenchuk shopping mall air strike, Kramatorsk train station air strike, Bucha massacre, Mariupol theater air strike All disprove that.

Been hearing 'Ukraine is finished' for 2 years now, meanwhile in reality Russia has lost over 50% of the land they once occupied and cant even the the Donbas.

@_Epsilon_ We have no idea what civilian casualties are in this war. All estimates come only from Ukrainian territory. We have no idea how many civilians have died in Russian held land. In Mariupol alone the number could be six figures.

@andrewcrus Off the top of my head Bodhana SPG, Neptune missiles, Stugna, Kombat, Kolchuga-M, Pelikan, Vilkha MLRS. Ukraine has been steadily increasing ammunition production since the start of the war. Keep in mind the Chechens and the Afghans beat Russia with almost nothing. Russia has lost an order of magnitude more than both those wars combined in under two years.

@andrewcrus Prior to the war Ukraine was 4-5th largest exporter, from the wiki. In 2011 trade in armored vehicles (including the export of the T-84 Oplot to Thailand) replaced the military aviation export as most profitable military exports, and since then third place has traditionally been occupied by trade in air defense equipment. In 2012 (by far Ukraine's most successful year of arms export) Ukraine had the status of world's 4th largest arms exporter. In 2013 Ukraine's defense sector manufactured a total of 11.7 billion Ukrainian hryvnia (₴) worth of goods, ₴10 billion of which were exported. Since the 2014 start of the war in Donbas, Ukraine's military industry focused more on its internal arms market and started to export significantly fewer abroad. Before 2014 Ukrainian producers had not received significant revenues from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the first 9 months of 2014 Ukraine's defense sector produced a record ₴13 billion worth of goods, the increase was largely due to government orders for the war in Donbas. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army began to buy weapons, ammunition and equipment abroad en masse. And since every year the percentage of such imports increases. As a result of Ukraine's arms manufacturing refocus on its own military needs, it slipped to the 9th spot among top global arms exporters by 2015. Before the 2022 invasion Ukraine was in 12th spot.

@James-qh7cm Russia also has conscripts, what a brainless comment. Ukraine suspended elections during war as stated in their constitution, what country would have elections during an invasion? Russia has farce elections. As Peskov already said elections in Russia are pointless, Putin will win with 90% of the vote.

@gurglejug627 Here's some more just incase that isn't enough for you. In 1999, bombs exploded in a number of apartment buildings in Russia, killing 293 civilians. The bombings were attributed to Chechen terrorism, driving up patriotic support for Russia’s military in invading Chechnya. When one bomb was detected and defused in the city of Ryazan before it went off, new Prime Minister Putin praised the people of Ryazan for their vigilance. His subsequent strong leadership during the Chechen War was key to his election as president in March 2000. Yet forensics, eyewitness accounts and whistleblower revelations all indicated that Russia’s security service, the FSB, planted the Ryazan bomb. The commission established to investigate the FSB’s role in all the bombings discontinued its work in 2003 when two key members died violent deaths. Deputy Sergei Yushenkov was gunned down, and investigative journalist Yuri Shchekochikhin died in a hospital from an “unknown allergen” that shut down all his vital organs. FSB whistleblower Alexander Litvinenko, who directly accused Vladimir Putin of involvement in the apartment bombings, was poisoned in London in 2006.

@gurglejug627 In 2005, the American-born British CEO of Moscow-based investment fund Hermitage Capital, Bill Browder, was denied re-entry to Russia, and declared a threat to national security. Browder’s tax attorney Sergei Magnitsky then uncovered a US$230 million tax fraud scheme against Hermitage Capital. Magnitsky’s work revealed high-level government collusion in the criminal looting of public assets. After taking the allegations public, Magnitsky was arrested in Moscow on fabricated charges and detained for 11 months prior to trial. He was repeatedly abused in jail, including denial of treatment for chronic health conditions. Eventually he was beaten to death. The Russian state’s punishment did not stop then. Magnitsky was posthumously tried and convicted for tax evasion. Browder has subsequently pursued justice for Magnitsky, advocating for the worldwide adoption of the Magnitsky Act. The act was passed by the U.S. Congress in 2012 to sanction individual Russians involved in human rights abuses. Putin held a December 2012 press conference following the Magnitsky act’s passage and the Russian Duma’s subsequent retaliatory ban on American adoptions of Russian orphans. Putin said, “Magnitksy … was not tortured — he died of a heart attack.”

@WarrenCromartie2 Neither of those guys is anything close to credible. They are Russian shills who have been predicting the downfall of Ukraine since day one of the war. Literally none of their predictions have come true. How you consider them credible is beyond me. Russia has been parked outside of Avdiivka for nine years, the Russian army just got through its worst month of the war and still cant even take the Donbas, the Russian navy just lost the battle of the black sea to a country with no navy and the Russian air force has been a no show since taking terrible losses int he early war.
