  1. In the 2000 Camp David Summit, Ehud Barak, then Prime Minister of Israel, offered to form a Palestinian state, initially with 73% of the West Bank and 100% of Gaza. In 10 to 25 years, the Palestinian state will expand to 92% of the West Bank. But Yasser Arafat, leader of the PLO, rejected the offer. One of about half a dozen two state solutions rejected by Palestine. A majority of Palestinians support the two state solution btw, its Hamas and the hardliners that derail all the talks.

  2.  @GeoffV-k1h  What's Hamas's endgame? Its not easy to negotiate with someone who's primary objective is your complete destruction. The latest initiatives were the 2013–14, not exactly the distant past.
