  1. It does seem bizarre to achieve nuclear fusion, only to require 150 year old technology to get the energy out.

  2.  @kirkhamandy  No, I love it, it's the future if they can make it work. I was referring to tye more conventional fusion approaches. Yeah, it's pulsed, and that does lead to challenges, but these people seem to be extremely smart.
