I’ve remained optimistic during all this and been thinking and even saying on occasion to friends of mine that things will be alright, while some of those friends who aren’t leftists act as if America will collapse and things are going down the tubes fast. It’s best to be positive in situations like this, because being negative is going to make a situation that may be bad at the moment only be worse for you if you have that mindset. Things do unfortunately get worse before they get better at times, but at least they get better.
