  10.  @Thekingmaker  the writers of the constitution were incredibly careful when they wrote it. You think they put a comma there for no reason? You think it was a typo? A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. It’s very specific. They just beat Britain and they understood both the need for a well regulated militia (army) and an armed citizenry. They people rose up to defeat the government of the day using their own guns. They understood the need for the people to be armed because of government tyranny. You honestly think they wrote the second amendment to ensure the people that just defeated the government of the day would be disarmed?

Why would so clever people writing such an important document be so sloppy in that one place but nowhere else in the document. The argument is old and boring and has been rejected repeatedly. For hundreds of years it was understood clearly. But now gun grabbers are saying we got it wrong all that time! Ignore the comma! Again you don’t believe it yourself. You own a gun ;-)
