  1. The noise from the Man-Portable Air-Defense System (MANPADS) is the infrared seeker locking onto the heat source of the Russian drone; the steady tone indicates a lock-on. With the small size of the Russian drone and the cloudy skies it would be hard to see, but the Russians use cheap gas powered engines that are very noisy.
