  1. The UK Treasure Act 1996 gives the value of the treasure to be split between the treasure hunters, the landowner and the museum. Its in 160 meters of seawater and I guess there‘s no splitting the treasure between treasure hunters/recovery teams. “…the arts heritage squad of Italy's Carabinieri police…” The Italians really don’t like treasure hunters taking their antiquities by creating a special police team to protect them.
