The Ukrainians use Western tactics of using drones to reconnoiter an area discreetly to look for Russian locations and then send in an armored fighting vehicle to do a reconnaissance by firing its weapons to verify strong points and quickly leave the area. After identifying Russian locations the Ukrainians fire mortars and artillery into the Russian positions. The Russians do a reconnaissance by fire by sending a few Russians conscripts firing their AK’s into a narrow kill box of the Ukrainian front line. If the Russian conscripts are killed by mortars and artillery the Ukrainian trenches are farther away, if they are killed by hand grenades and bullets they found the Ukrainian trenches; Cannon Fodder.
