I don't like Thatcher as she destroyed Britains industrial and manufacturing base and ushered in the era of wealth through stock market shares & speculation rather than real wealth that comes from production and industry. Though in decline it wasnt in an irreversible position. Now we live in a paper economy that can collapse like a house of cards.
