  1. Kids in general are very mean. They don't understand the concepts of social behavior. It's through parents and just living life where they should learn what's right and what's wrong. In this day and age, I think it's very important for parents to not judge people for their outer appearance. South Korea is still a bit not so adjusted to the idea of bi-racial couples; let alone bi-racial married couples. The thing is, the world, society, and culture is changing. Bi-racial couples are more and more common. Even through social struggles like language and cultural barriers, if a couple loves each other and trusts each other, then that should be enough to get married if they choose to do so, and also have kids if that's what they want. People who are in shock or disappointed at bi-racial couples need to be more open minded. Yes I can see why there would be a preference to be with/marry someone within the same ethnicity (social reasons mainly), but there's nothing inherently wrong with marrying someone that is not of the same ethnicity/nationality as you are. Again, as long as the couple treat each other well, trusts each other, is honest with each other, and is able to mentally, physically, and financially support each other, it shouldn't matter at all. I think this teenager is impressive. She grew up getting teased by fellow students at her school over her skin color. Her parents were teased by other adults about being bi-racial couple with a South Korean woman and a African American man. But I think through their struggles and teaching others that it's okay and they're a happy couple with an amazing daughter ... they'll just be a great example of why it's fine to be a bi-racial couple and have bi-racial child. We're all still 1 race...The human race. Culturally & socially there might be differences and notions about particular ethnicity, but again we're all human. Also, this daughter being bi-racial and a teen model only means she'll stand out more for being unique. What's the point of modeling if the models all literally look pretty much the same? Right??
