  2. Fascinating discussion. In Christianity, if you are in faith, you try to do everything according to the Gospels. But no one can… it’s an ideal. The same with group behavior… has there ever been a society where preferences and biases can be equalized. That is the Marx utopia, but again it’s a myth. The world is filled with tribes. Don’t expect Americans to achieve something that is not or never has been achieved. The U.S. is just another bucket of people… humans…tribal.. it’s in the DNA, or culture. It’s an ideal to try to achieve no group identity.. but white or black or brown… there will always be preferences, biases, and unfairness. There is no utopia. I think the U.S… compared to other countries does pretty well.
