  1. sean gleason Well that's the exact reason why Trump ran as a Republican. More importantly, Putin needed him to run as a Republican. Trump knew that Dems would not have tolerated his unethical and immoral behavior. And Putin knew that republicans weren't actually patriotic at all, and could easily be bought with Russian money, and it worked. President Obama despised Putin, and he proved it by kicking almost 30 Russian officials out of the country, and slapping Russia with sanctions.
