  1. No American military base should be named after the same people that attacked an American military base. The 9/11 hijackers attacked the Pentagon, so should we name the Pentagon after one of them? One of these bases should be named after General Ulysses S Grant. The Confederates committed an act of treason the moment they opened fire on US troops stationed at Fort Sumter South Carolina. So It's okay to call it treason, because that's exactly what it was.. And furthermore, If any group were to attack a US military base today, it would STILL  be an act of treason. So would we erect statues and monuments to celebrate any treasonous group that would do that today? I think not. No American military base should be named after the same people that attacked an American military base. Anyone who denies these fundamental facts, is openly defending treason against America, as well as defending slavery, and those who fought to hold on to it. Semper Fi...

  4.  Saynoto Socialists  WRONG!!! The south had not ceded from the Union, because NO STATE CAN SECEDE FROM THE UNION. There is no provision or amendment within the Constitution that permits any state to secede. So the south did not actually secede from anything. They simply committing an unconstitutional act of treason. The Union never created a provision or amendment that would have  allowed itself to be dissolved, which is what seceding from the Union would have meant. I repeat, the Constitution does not permit any state to secede from the Union, and it never has. Look it up.,

  5.  @mraycgz  Check out the recent 4 part mini series GRANT on the History Channel. It's really good. I learned a lot of things about him that I never knew. He was a decent and very honorable man, and an American hero, who came from nothing.
