  5. They shouldn't because the logistics are difficult. But Ruzzia is evil and the Middle East is tricky at best. For the short term, buying from North America is best, but long term the European countries should work on alternate sources, develop greener alternatives and possibly use less green alternatives for the short-term. The US and Canada are not practical alternatives for a long-term energy policy.
