  8. This is almost a non-story. Countries have inventory on a computer. This is listed as ok. But it needs repair. As a former US Army logistician this is normal. Any piece of equipment that is in need of major work could be listed as "repairable exchange" and be swapped out for new. There are many reasons why units don't do this in a timely fashion. One is that a higher HQ has set a limit on how much of this is done, to make the unit look good on paper. It is interesting that the US unit in this was in Kuwait. The Desert is not the maintenance people's friend. But someone in DC saw a unit close to Ukraine with some equipment (on a computer screen).... The Ruzzians cannot do a tenth of this. Logistics is murderously tough. That this is happening is part for the course.

  12. They need functional help. They have gotten a few bad batches. This is a story about nothing. 21st century journalism. Ukraine has whole facilities set up to service other nations' gear. I saw a story on them working on M-113s. They are fixing these things but doing it causes delay.

  14. Well, if it is poisoned.... Ruzzia worked for years to weaken Ukraine militarily. Then attacked them. Ukraine bravely fought back. Ruzzia ran out of gas outside of Kyiv', where it surely could have had tanker trucks sent. But they couldn't do 1 little thing right.
