@gordsruby5963 They would probably learn more from the living room sofa because clearly no amount of training gave them courage to do what they're trained to do, despite what their superiors orders were or were not. They are well trained but did nothing. In saying that you cannot train courage, morality (to do the right thing) or ethics (the responsibility to do what's right despite the consequences)

@gordsruby5963 Your insults reveal a lot about you but do very little to sway me from my opinion. I do my research. Clearly you don't and insist on defending their actions by resorting to insults. Only unintelligent people resort to insults when they have nothing intelligent to offer in trying to defend what cannot be defended. Quit your day job if you're a cop. You're not cut out to be one with that attitude

@gordsruby5963 Why are you deleting your comments? That says a lot about your very long winded comment on the history of your country. You're assumptions and attempts ar insults are hilarious and sad at the same time. I prefer not to engage with sneaky people who have very little to say that is of any value in what should be an intelligent debate then delete their comments.

@gordsruby5963 Yes, it is not unreasonable to expect well trained swat teams to breach a door to take down the perpetrator. They have little problem shooting unarmed citizens in their own home, but those officers were not trained for school shooters. The untrained also have no problem with shootouts on a street where innocent people get shot in the crossfire. Again they were not trained. Uvalde was trained for incidents like the shooting but failed to act. Too many chiefs not enough indians. If guns were made illegal it would reduce the risk of this type of incident occuring. However the majority of citizens believe they are not safe without guns . Mass shootings is a tragic consequence of it's citizens delusional thinking that they are safe, while any man and his dog can own a gun. Now, short of building fortresses around schools they have to train the kids and the teachers how to protect themselves from potential threats. Because if Uvalde is a relection of all of LE (which I don't think they are) they have no choice but to put measures in place to protect themselves Go any where else in the world that have strict gun laws. There are no school shootings. My country has had 2 mass shootings. One in a small town by a mentally disturbed guy in the 90s One in a mosque a couple of years ago by a foreigner. The type of gun he used was made illegal. Hunters could legally buy these guns Not anymore. Military type guns are illegal now

@gordsruby5963 Never blocked, never deleted. I fail to see why that is even necessary? Unlike you who seems to like deleting your own comments. Unlike you I like to follow the dialogue and when I discover the comments are no longer there, I have to go back to notifications in order to respond. Deleting is typical of a person who wants to have their say but deviously tries to take away the ability to respond. Yet when one responds like myself, it looks like it is a one sided debate because you chose to delete yours This reveals your control issues. I have seen commenters who start the thread and delete the entire thread once the debate is over. Deleting as you go tells me you only want to be heard and are not interested in a response. If it makes you feel better, go ahead, have your say. I won't respond anymore. Good luck with being heard by the real people in your life. You cannot unsay or delete what you say in real life
