That's a cop out excuse. Basics is not the same for everyone. If basics was the same no one would be homeless. Like the first girl, she's a smoker. It's not a basic, but she works hard to ensure she can still smoke. Stop smoking and there's less hours to work right there. The father in the tent watching on tablet something online. Tablet and internet connection both are not basics. Poor is made up of wrong spending choices

@GhostradamusX We also look for non essential spending. Don't confuse apearing rich and truly rich. Truly rich are frugal that's why they became rich. Appearing rich live beyond their means like the majority

You're not poor if you smoke, drink alcohol, do drugs or buy takeouts. Stop spending on non basics You'll do amazing if you stick to the basics That includes no internet service, mobile phone top ups, or tv that's not free Those are luxuries

@carlbernard4197 Enjoying life does not require anyone to live beyond their means. Spending more than you earn is foolish. Getting into to debt is spending more than you earn so that too is foolish

@revenge0lobster No, it's not a basic. Yet people are programmed to think it is. There are still manual systems that exist. You just believe there is not. Its perception..One simply has to prioritize.. But like I said, some people live way beyond their means. In my country you can go without it and Bill's get paid. Jobs get applied for using government resources. Banks don't require anyone to have online banking.

@revenge0lobster I don't understand your point? America stll has an outdated check system that has been non existent for years in our country. America is still using a tax filing system we have not had for 20-30 years. So no, the internet is not required..It's a choice
