  1. 'Knee mortar' equals broken leg. Some Americans tried it... I imagine a good shooter could do good, fast work with this weapon simply eyeballing and angling by hand, as done with modern LW 60mm tubes.

  2. It's been a,while, but I have read accounts of troops trying it (including a posed photo), and manuals with specific warning to NOT try it.
