  1. Correct! The US was badgering Toyota for not coming out with an EV. But the Toyota management had a Definite Plan that included Reality. The Battery raw metals are in Tight Demand / Supply. By using a Hybrid system Toyota could use 75% LESS battery size. The Hybrids also bypass the Range Limits and Time Wasting aspects of EV charging Reality.
