The next time it was referred to by that term was as a DESCRIPTOR of an AREA that was MANDATED to the British for RETURN to its rightful owners after 720 years of Ottoman occupation. The British used that term from 1919 to 1948 ONLY. Mesopotamia is another example of a DESCRIPTOR, as was The Levant. NO such countries, but a recognised DESCRIPTION of an AREA Germany did the same with "Galizia" etc

Apologies for being nit picky, but I believe though, that The Romans had named it "Syrea palesinae" , to ADD to that insult effect after the Bar Kokhba Revolt. The intended meaning was "Palestinae as nothing but a PROVINCE of a Greater Syrea" to enhance the erasure of Nationhood from the people they were expelling. Most Arabs and Bedouin continued to refer to it as "Yahuda wa Samara" (Land of Judah and Samaria) even until quite recently. Sorry for being pedantic, but that "palestine" MYTH needs to be exposed as the land was NEVER referred to as "Pal**stine" at any time in history UNTIL the 28 years of the British Mandate to RECTIFY the wrong done by the Romans

  10.  @EGF1000  I did manage to read it before it disappeared, so no worries and thanks. Any comments of mine re the 1922 J.D. Barron Census, also keep disappearing, but no matter. I do try to keep an eye on those figures, as so many people seem to be unaware of how low populations had dropped by the end of the 1800s, let alone where they are now. I find it really sad that Samarian numbers HAVE dropped so low. It is good to know there are others who also try to pay attention to Truth. Stay safe my friend 😊
