That is what irks me. We WON'T look after our elderly, but WILL waste money on people who entered our country ILLEGALLY

@azillliasmith2734 I'm just glad that both my parents who fought through WW2 are not here to see it ! OUR money, which WE don't get, but someone who has NEVER paid in, OR respected our Laws DOES

@gemmamudd7167 Indeed it does ! It seems to me to be a rather sinister concerted effort to eliminate any kind of National Identity by eroding all the values that helped BUILD that identity. Like working hard, saving, being careful with money, abiding by the Law etc. It is really sad

@maureendavidson4635 We have very similar parents, my friend, my Dad volunteered in 1938 after what his brother had seen in Spain, and cane right through BoB, Libya, Italy, then home for demob in 1945 and marriage. Mum was WAAF and from her stories, had a lot of fun and also saw lots of tragedy. All this betrayal really DOES make me glad they went before even seeing it. My Dad always used to get tearful remembering a Pilot Officer Bodie who he saw shot down in 1940, and good friends who got blown up by a booby trap in Italy. This would have broken his heart

@CHT1299 It is called social security my friend, where in this country we all pay in to a system through our TAXES, so that when we get old and no longer have family to take care of us, the SYSTEM we have paid into all our lives takes care of us in our old age. Immigrants that "do not have visas" and have come here illegally, have NO right to be looked after by a system that WE have paid into. Someone entering the country LEGALLY do have a visa and therefore CAN work to PAY into OUR system so DO have the same right to later claim from it
