  1. We can expect more of same as long as we have the same leadership. Bernie told his staff to get prepared in case he decides to run. He's pretty much keeping it quiet just now though. I don't know if he will run but at least he will be prepared if he decides to.

  3. We are moving into another progressive age if the working class has any say in it. We.need leaders to reflect that. It's time for a big change and corporate media is complicit in preventing it because they gaslight the largest generation. I'm talking about boomers which is my own generation. Some of us voted for Bernie but not enough of us and not enough young people come out for the primaries.

  5. We need a new national mythology. We are still living in the mythology of the 1800s. The lone cowboy myth is not well suited to a civilized society although it was fine back when the settlers were expanding toward the west, each for their own reasons.

  6. We can't do anything about it now. I don't know who voted for Biden in the primaries but we are stuck with him now. Nothing anyone says is going to change that.

  7. Biden's style of governing seems to be not to govern. The actual progressives in the progressive caucus are newer in politics and have no power to speak of. Those who do have power are doing political theater which in my opinion is useless. We are at the change of an era and someone needs to determine what is to follow but so far Bernie is the only one with anything. It's in part FDR's economic bill of rights, in part what young people tell him they want to see, in part dignified lives for the elderly and in part a strong social safety net along with moving rapidly to renewables in an effort to stop a mass extinction. He's an old man who wants to plant trees in spite of the fact that he will never get to enjoy the shade from those trees but his grandchildren's generation will.
