  3. When Bernie, as a member of the progressive caucus, ran for president he started a wave and that wave is growing. When Obama ran on a message of change and hope then governed as a moderate Republican Democratic voters were so demoralized they gave up until Bernie came along and specified that hope and change with real tangible issues. No vague campaign promises or social issues are all that likely to get us to the polls again.
