  1. Tell the bail bondsmen to go get jobs like everyone else. It's another industry like health insurance that shouldn't even exist. There shouldn't be a need for them if we did things right in this country.

  2. G Worm You are mistaken. I'm not angry with bail bondsmen. I see the need for them under our current system. They perform a service that shouldn't be needed. Improve our system and the industry won't exist so they will either need jobs or to find something that is needed and those who are creative will be able to do that.

  3. Reyna Encantadora You don't have to commit a crime or even be convicted of one to be held for long periods of time. Only suspected. The courts are very backed up, especially in areas with high population.

  5. Reyna Encantadora Like anyone else you could be held for months or even years if you happened to be in the wrong place and sort of match a witness description. Thin, blue eyed blonde, or whatever. Anyone, any time, any place can be held no matter how innocent.

  6. SSMitchell No. We should eliminate the bail system as it stands. I'm not certain what could replace it that would be fair to all income groups. It would take some thought to come up with a valid answer to the creation of a fair system but it might even provide jobs for those who are currently working as bondsman. The police should not have to do more than they currently do.
