  1. Create a lot of jobs and radically increase the GDP by getting ahead of the curve on renewable energy development. This would benefit every level of society financially instead of falling behind as we will if we continue on our current tradgectory. Getting a jump on climate science and research will probably save what's left of our environment but be great for the economy so it's win/ win.
