My oldest son is deep in debt and owns one huge fancy house. He spends a lot showing off his lifestyle. My youngest son is buying real estate when prices are down and has no other debt aside from a couple car payments. Unlike my oldest son he pays off his credit card monthly. I suspect the youngest one will have a far better retirement fund with his excellent healthcare as one of the benefits. They both clawed their way from the working class up to where I was before I got cancer and my health insurance declined to pay. I've lost everything because of it. It took quite awhile to find a surgeon willing to attempt to treat my fourth stage cancer.
