  3. We won't need much robotics to replace doctors, just sensors and AI. With lawyers, it's the same thing. These are intellectual careers that hardly require a physical body other than senses.

  12. So youll have to take wealth that consumers gave to businesses and give it back to consumers? Seems a little convoluted. I guess you cant advocate price quotas so you think this solves a problem. You should know that if you didnt take the wealth from the businesses, they wouldnt have to raise their prices in consequence, and therefore goods will be cheaper.

  14. Wouldn't people rather use Khan academy with the GPT based customized tutor? I can't see why someone would send a kid to public or private school, when you can learn anything by just speaking to your phone. I think we already have LLMs that can pass an IQ test like an average teacher. Within two years they're going to replace doctors and lawyers. If we are able to combine math with LLMs, then accountants, engineers, and eventually investors.

  22. Tools don't need licences. When electricians get a new tool, they don't need to licence it. It's their own career that they have licenced based on a certain number of hours and tests. A licenced electrician already forces his journeyman to run wire all day.

  23. Most GPs dont do anything but diagnose and prescribe. Surgeons and other specialties require advancement in robotics but LLMs, vision and some basic diagnostic censors will cover everything a GP does for free. You'll just have to get your prescription from an overseas pharmacy or something, if you want to go that route. In reality doctors should be telling people not to be fat and eat garbage all the time, so that patients don't get most of their chronic degenerative diseases in the first place. However, they require 0 nutrition and exercise classes in medical doctorates all over the world

  29. my cousin works for an ai legal startup the analyzes company prospectus and financial statements and highlights areas as low or high risk. instead of a legal team with tonnes of paralegals, 1-2 lawyers can do everything with this tool
