National Heritage organisation and funding should be extended to cover preservation of our old pubs and churches, even if they cannot be kept open and running the globalised multicultural market should not be allowed to freely pass value judgement on them and demolish them or turn them into soulless or against their original native purpose and value be it a mosque or anything else inappropriate. Tax duty should never have been placed on native pub alcohol and lower sales taxes for anything else sold in a pub would help even if the latter is only a temporary measure.
