As I've said before if the border had been closed & people screened & tested earlier we never would have gotten here - as numerous other countries show. I do think this particular disease incidence reaction is OTT, (both legally & in the context of the general baseline death rate & those of other diseases), but I equally think that at least socially it's a correction that is overdue in regards to contagious diseases, personal & social hygiene & over corrections are normally the only way social corrections get embedded. Medically it has exposed the fact that vague 'maybe' disease diagnoses, which the overwhelming majority that we suffer are, isn't a helpful state of affairs, especially in an age when precise ones are possible if the investment is made to prioritise them -which should be, as it has been the uncertainty around infection more than anything else that has triggered the crises - that and a lack of sensible national boundaries. Why are our borders still open?

@richarddews4841 Mr Wobbly Gob gets paid to be obtuse. The English are already a Minority of Live Births in England & all Native Britons will also be later this decade by 2027. The English will become an Absolute Minority in England within 30years around mid century and all Native Britons of the UK will be made an Absolute Minority within 50 years by 2066. We are supposed to be a Democracy and yet the greatest and most rapid Demographic changes in over three millennia are being imposed by policies that were never proposed to the people let alone received a mandate to occur: We Were Never Asked. Anyone who loves this country, be they Indigenous or of Foreign Extraction, would seek to preserve it’s Native people’s Demographic & Cultural hegemony in our Neighbourhoods, Towns, Cities, Counties, Regions, Nations & Country.

@ironfelix2963 Personally, I wish Collett would fade away. This is the internet & this is a Spiked! comment section, if free exchange of ideas isn't to be done here where is it? There's a taboo on honestly discussing the demographic facts, (facts which are of vital importance to be discussed), bringing them up is hardly 'forcing views upon other'.

@ironfelix2963 LOL. I live in such an area...did you think I just pulled that out of my arse? I can go days walking round here & not see another Native; I get stared at as an oddity when I get on the bus. I don't watch mainstream media, haven't for years besides a bit of news & question time & the like. Every people wants to be on top & their people in charge & their preferences & cultural norms supreme & whilst many among them aren't aggressively pursuing conquest, (though some are), if victory falls to them they won't turn it down.

All the Drs in England could be foreigners, leaving no person a choice & it still wouldn’t mean we should be made minorities in our own neighbourhoods, towns, cities, regions, Nations & country. Despite what you may think I default to treating people as individuals when I find them and only apply wider heuristics as the need arises evidence indicates it be wise I should. Based on the Ethnically varying rates of professional malpractice, especially sexual misconduct, I would be a fool not to consider it when faced with leaving one of my daughters in their care, for instance, but not as a sole data point for a judgement. It must be a parallel Universe reality, other side of The City in the West End where I grew up. The East End was East of The City to the River Lea, more or less Tower Hamlets & the Bells were of St-Mary-le-Bow but we’re clearly either side of some Mandela Effect if you’re telling me otherwise, either that or your understanding of “nowhere near” is some microscopic pedantry. Not sure what your obsession with American comics is or how they’re in any way relevant to anything being discussed. (Beano, Dandy, Asterix & Obelix, Tintin since you seem so interested). @ironfelix2963 Oh there are always several sides but from the point of view of anyone of European Heritage who cares about it's continuation & their personally not being treated like a member of a despised & conquered people then you either take you own or someone else's side. The Guardian published a piece 20years ago called 'The End Of The White World' that went over the Demographic trends & some of the geopolitical & normative shifts that would follow. We're already at a stage where the phrase 'It's OK To Be White' is unironically & with a straight face proclaimed to be a statement of racial bigotry against 'POC' by academics, politicians & media pundits in greater numbers & with more influence than anyone saying otherwise... Where do you think things go when Europeans are only a majority in the over 40s or 50s in our own countries? That day fast approaches, currently unavoidably. Go to any area in our country that is already populated by a majority of people of foreign extraction & just ask them directly what they want to/ think will happen when those days come.

In recent & current reality there's this thing called England & the English people who are a bit more pertinent to what we're talking about. Feel free to let me know when all those other descendents of Ancient Hominids of Africa have decided to identity as such & have abandoned all ethnic grudges that have developed since then.

You’ve not indicated where you got lost in what I said. Does your family still live there? Will they or Native Cockneys generally live in the East End for hundreds more years currently? I’m quite busy living my life with four daughters & besides the likely 50-60 years I have left to live dealing with this degenerating reality, I have their safety & wellbeing to think of, not to mention others in my family & friends & community. Past realities are just that. Statistical demographic, human biodiversity & cultural trend realities are what they are. A taboo still remains enforced against honest discussion of the facts, elections are almost never just single issue judgements & the democratic horizon is typically short term -so it will loom urgently eventually. Were the Native British offered a Referendum on preventing & reversing our minoritisation there is No Doubt what the result would be. I fail to understand other Britons who are nonplussed by the coming realities or actively welcome them as no rational measure indicates them to be an improvement in any way.

@Auz J Rudyard Kipling was born in India, he was an ethnic Englishman not an ethnic Indian. Hugo Weaving was born in Nigeria, he’s not an ethnic Bantu; Martin Lawrence was born in Germany, he’s not an ethnic North European. English is a bio-cultural ethnicity that you are born from & raised in. A duck born in a stable is not a horse. An African Elephant born in London Zoo is not an English or European Elephant. Red Squirrels are Indigenous animals to the British Isles, Grey Squirrels are not, they are a foreign invasive species. Get off you pseudo intellectual high horse & stop acting as if simple word associations dictate reality.

@Orsen Carte Cockneys are a sub ethnic class-cultural group of Native Britons born within the sound of the Bow bells in London’s East End. You can’t get Bangladeshi, Brazilian, Bantu Ghanaian or Belarusian Hasidic Cockneys. People of majority Central Asian ancestry living in the Mediterranean City on the Bosphorus Straits aren’t Byzantine Greeks of Constantinople. It has been found time & again that neither Roman, nor Viking, nor Norman made a significant impact on the genetic composition of the Native Peoples of the British Isles. Minoritisation & the corrosion & overthrowing of Cultural Heritage isn’t a win. The Turkification Of Anatolia did not result in the Victory of the Byzantines. I do not object to the presence of well behaved guests from all over the world, (putting aside for one moment the disproportionately terrible misbehaviour of so many of them); what we are talking about here is existential jeopardy & the longer the delay in addressing it the greater the disruption & risk of terrible conflict arises in regards to it’s correction or continuing resolution. This is not a time for empty headed bigotries of any sort, ethnic or ideological, of for cowardly conformity, or simple minded naïveté, or fatalistic indifferences but serious, genuine, concerned, pragmatism that is brave enough to look at the facts & realities of both problems & solutions.

@ironfelix2963 Don't ask, don't get. It's a meta-politics thing, the topic & questions have to be made unavoidable. It's an undeniably important issue, there's a taboo invoked & maintained against it & the continual avoidance of properly & honestly addressing it causes more issues/removes easier solutions the longer that continues. Being importunate isn't harassment, no ones' being threatened or having their basic quality of life significantly damaged. Spiked! should be smart enough to work out that you can't maintain a a culture of Liberal values in a hostile multi-ethnic society. The fence is falling & being torn down, everyone will have to pick a side eventually.

@Orsen Carte All very well & European peoples were unchallenged in their homelands during those years. Imagine living those 70 years as a minority in your homeland, outnumbered by peoples with an ethnic animus against yours. London isn’t the wealthiest place on Earth & not caring about the Native people but about who can make mammon is how we’ve been made a minority here & the Cockneys have been ethnically cleansed.

@Orsen Carte Not migrations, invasions & barring the Romans they were all ethnic peoples separated in common roots by a few hundred years and with the Romans perhaps a few thousand years at most, not the 60,000 plus years separation with some populations currently & the numbers of those peoples of comparatively almost identical heritage were not the absolute existential threat of the rapidly increasing & inflowing populations of today.
