  1. It's interesting that Russian armed forces seem to be working even worse than they did in world war 2 even then they were capable of combining arms. Well done to the Ukranian's for pulling off the victory regardless. It's quite possible that the troops this year are new conscripts without much training and that the older more experienced troops were killed. It's also interesting to see mines being used so liberally especially after my own country has singed a convention banning them... It's also interesting to see the lack of cohesion with learning lessons - it's definitely important for units to have a strong sense and pride in themselves but not to the extent that they ignore things learned by others
