  3.  @Kwthardevyth  Modi should be appreciated to bring North East in to Indian Media discourse and some road infrastructure in NE. But it was true till Manipur happened. Now they are ignoring things which were not ignored in the past, at least after 1980. Rajiv Gandhi has done Assam peace accord. He deserves credit for that. He even lost the congress state government but Modi has not removed Manipur CM. That's the difference. Tripura insurgency has been ended by the left state government and congress/Atal ji goverment. Mijoram became peaceful before. 2014 during UPA. So, don't say it was ignored by Indian governments. Yes that much development was not der and u can understand that. Priority was to fight against insurgency. Yes, it was and is still is ignored by the Indian press(it is actually North India press, they even ignore Orissa, Andhra, unless something big happens). Now with Manipur, Modi has turned back the clock and not for good reason. This peace was achieved after so many sacrifices of NE people and soldiers. It is not good for India.
