  1. Make army smaller. No issue with that. Recruit only 15k per year i.e 1/4 of Agniveer who are going to stay after 4 years. Why is this obsession to keep age at 26 by recruiting people for 4 years? You can find other ways to do it. It is always better to keep fully trained, motivated 30 years old soilder than to have a 21 year less motivated, insecure soilder. Also, apart from this age reduction , what r u going to get from this 4 years recruitment?

  2.  @pranay_prince  😂😂😂 If the same number of soilder r der after 4 years, why to recruit additional 75% people and giving them salary and other benifits? Is it Armed forces wanted to save salary Billings? As per them only, Armed forces are not running Employment Providing scheme. On ur second point, r u saying that armed forces recruitment process is not up to the mark and hence they r recruiting 75% undesirable people. I thought they always recruit best of the best. 🤔 If that is the case, they shld change der recruitment process, which is still same for Agniveer. Atleast think through ur arguments before making it. Now for best of best remarks, why will someone very good in something will waste his life for 4 years of service? He will try for some other service. Only those who doesn't have any chance anywhere else will apply for Agniveer? And don't tell me about passion or all other bullshit. People go to army for Job, salary, respect in society, benifits and passion is additional and mandatory quality, but others are equally important. Armed forces has degraded itself. Now people will use Agniveer as derogatory and sometimes in insulting way. It will become like Shikshamitra. People will specifically ask, of u r an Agniveer or Regular Soilder.
