  1. I was against OBC reservation and hence never took it. But after EWS Reservation (it is also a caste based reservation), I feel like a fool and once SC approved it then they cannot ask others to maintain a 50% limit. Now the best case will be to provide everything proportion to caste. SC has doomed us for this by its judgement on EWS quota.

  4.  @vrtavsbsn  SC ST reservation are need of the time. It is sad but they still need reservations. Yes, it must be modified so that those who got reservations, could not get it again for der children, like Tina Dabi case. It is needed bcz SC and ST are still facing discrimination. They still cannot live within villages. And our education system has failed to provide proper education to them.

  6.  @VishalKumar-xp6gz  That is the main reason. No-one from SC ST is in the media's top position. It is not that no SC ST is talented enough to be der. It is mainly bcz of discrimination.

  7.  @jaymabharti982  same logic applies to OBC. The economic parameters for the Creamy layer are almost the same as EWS. 2 people from the same caste in obc, cannot get reservation benefits. That's the whole purpose of a creamy layer.

I am sure, you were against Reservation till 2019.😉 Only 4 Years of EWS😂😂 SC/ST were tortured by guys like you for 2000 years and I am sure you have become like this only in 72 years?😂 OBC were not that tortured but you suppressed them too. But I think after 2004-2005, OBC donot need reservation as they have grown socially. But that has become joke now after EWS Reservation. Now the population proportion is about 30%. If I take a very high number then it will be 35%. Out of that most of them are either rich, have lands and home. Only 20-25% of that 30% i. e. 6-8 people are getting 10% reservation. Still they can qualify themselves as POOR(same as Currently OBC rich people can declare themselves a NON Creamy Layer). The Joke here is, Modi government is not bothered to find the percentage of people who need EWS. Example - BJP government in Karnataka is trying to reduce this EWS Reservation to 4% as there are not enough people qualified for this reservation. So you need to read and be less JAATIWADI, to understand simple things.

  9.  @riturajsinha9389  I will only respond to you "Poor Guy from General class comment". 1. He is getting what a normal person should get in a free Country. Only thing is, he is not getting additional benefits from the government job, education. So it is not discrimination against him. 2. Now, who is getting reservations. SC/ST - A. They have been denied everything including, dignity. B. If even 100 years ago, you have some land you could have done many things. Most of the rich sre those who had land. C. Social status of SC/ST are still like hell. If you say otherwise, I will ask you to visit any villege anywhere in India where SC and upper caste both present. Any means,any. D. There social status is at the bottom of the pyramid. They cannot get a dignified job, people will talk harshly with them in any villege. If two people doing the same labour work will be treated differently bcz of der caste. OBC faced those above issues but obviously it was nothing in comparison of sc/st. Finally, the main question, What was the purpose of reservation? Reservation is not a "Gareebi Hatao Yojana". It is to elevate social status of people. Ambedkar with all his brilliance, all his education, all his success was discriminated bcz of his caste. All upper caste people have lands from ancient times. Later they might have sold it for one or other reason. It might be some genuine reason also. But in the beginning they have the land. Now der children didn't have the land, not bcz they have been denied by someone but they lost/sold it for some reason. And don't get me wrong. It is not the mistake of today's Upper caste people. However those who were getting reservation, have never have that land. They have been denied of that. They were discriminated. They didn't have any land at any point of time to sell it for that matter. A poor and even middle class person from SC ST cannot be compared with a very poor Upper caste person. Even without money, the upper caste person will be treated more respectfully, with dignity and wil enjoy hight social status than that of SC ST. In USA, black people were given special treatment bcz of that only.
