DK ji, you are right when you say that lateral entry was der since Nehru. But none of them tried to make them IAS or substitution for IAS. They used them intelligently and they were genuine people who created good things. What does those who were recruited by Modi ji as part of lateral entry has achieved in last 10 years? If they were successful then they must have been advertised. Why is it not done? So seems like, they are not successful enough at the first place

@HimanshuSharma-eg5li Yeah, we are getting better service now as JIO and Airtel created the duopoly with Modi ji support. By the way, your entire analogy is wrong. It is not about what services we are getting. It was whom in the government will be doing those jobs. If you don't believe that IAS are capable then change the recruitment process. Obviously u can add an odd few to do some jobs, like Manmohan Singh or Nandan Nilkeni. But you cannot create an alternate system just to avoid representation. U can recruit private people too. But add that reservations criteria. What is the problem in that? By the way, Modi ji has recruited many people earlier too. What work they have done and how they were different than IAS? What Impact they have created? Do you even remember the name of any, except Buch, The SEBI queen? I am yet to get an answer for this one.

@HimanshuSharma-eg5li It is free market? It is duopoly. At least know terms before using it. Yes, I used services before. And Bcz 3g was new, it was costly. Same way, 2g was costly earlier but in 2011-12,13, etc it was almost zero. So JIO or not, the prices would have dropped. And call services were really good. I am using a mobile phone when Outgoing local charges were 2.75 rs.

@sudharshankomandur4118 I think u r older by ur mind is of 8 years old. Check what Peeyush Goyal did when he was railway minister. He increased the total travel time of trains. So yes, trains are running slower now. Even some Vande Bharat are running at an average speed of 40-50 kmph. Also, forget about the general compartment, what is the situation of SL, 3rd AC? It is happening bcz in 3 years apart from some 20+ Vande Bharat express, trains are not added. Read, process and then comment.
