In my limited experience,I have seen that those who don't have anyone serving in Armed forces, are way more enthusiastic about war. I am yet to meet anyone who is enthusiastic about starting a war, whose son or daughter is in armed forces. Obviously, they support them when war started,but before that they don't want the war to start.
